Webster Bank Arena, formerly called Arena at Harbor Yard, has become one of the top sports arenas in the region since its opening in October, 2001. The Arena has hosted the 2004, 2008, and 2012 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds as well as the 2006 and 2012 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship Regional. In 2009, 2011, and 2012, the NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Regional came to Webster Bank Arena. And, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, the New York Islanders' AHL affiliate, and Fairfield University basketball also call Arena at Harbor Yard home.
Other Arena event highlights include sold out performances by Carrie Underwood, The Jonas Brothers, The Who, Nickelback, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen and more. Sports fans have enjoyed NHL, NBA and WNBA exhibitions games here at the Arena. Also, we offer a wide range of annual family entertainment including Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, Disney on Ice, Harlem Globetrotters, Monster Jam, Stars on Ice, FMX and Sesame Street Live.

The Chase Arena, which opened in January 1990 and
seats 3,977 people, is not only home to the University's NCAA
Division I men's and women's basketball programs, but also has
hosted a variety of community events, from a fund-raiser featuring
Christopher Reeve and a Bob Dylan concert to business expositions
and a variety of sports clinics.
Other featured events held at Chase Arena include a
jersey-retirement ceremony for NBA All-Star and former University
of Hartford basketball player Vin Baker and a sports card show with
Jeff Bagwell, former University of Hartford baseball star and
National League MVP in 1994 with the Houston Astros. The arena was
also used by the U.S. Women's Olympic basketball team for practices
and a clinic. Area high school graduations, St. Francis Hospital
and Medical Center's annual "Miracles" dinner, and various musical
concerts are also held there. The arena annually hosts about 25
external events that draw nearly 100,000 people.

Mohegan Sun's 10,000-seat Arena is home to electrifying performances and legendary events. Past Arena performers include the best from every generation and genre from Aerosmith and Justin Timberlake to Keith Urban, Van Halen, Gwen Stefani, and Bon Jovi. Mohegan Sun Arena is also home to a number of college and championship sporting events, as well as the state's own WNBA team, the Connecticut Sun.
