    WEST HARTFORD, Conn. ? The University of Hartford Department of Athletics saw its student-athletes enjoy its most successful performance in the classroom this past semester. The Hawks combined to earn a 3.38 grade point average for the Spring 2018 semester, marking the 24th consecutive semester Hartford's student-athletes have finished with at least a 3.0 departmental GPA.

    BOSTON ? Four University of Hartford senior student-athletes have been nominated for the 2018 America East Man and Woman of the Year awards, the organization announced on Thursday. Hassan Attia from men's basketball and Nick Campana from baseball have been nominated for Man of the Year, while women's basketball players Janelle Harrison and Mary Pattison have been nominated for Woman of the Year.
