    For the third consecutive season and the 10th time in program history, Fairfield University Volleyball is the champion of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The Stags swept visiting Iona this afternoon on George Bisacca Court at Alumni Hall to claim the 2017 MAAC Championship by set scores of 25-14, 25-19 and 25-11. Skyler Day was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2017 MAAC Championship after hammering home 14 kills in today's contest and 26 in six sets this weekend.

    POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. ?- The Fairfield University women's swimming and diving team defeated Marist this afternoon handing the Red Foxes their first dual meet loss in MAAC Competition since 2009. They won by a very close margin of 152.5 to 145.5 while the men fell to Marist 165-121.

    WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. ? Nobody said it would be easy. And in the end, playing the 19th-ranked team in the country on its home court was not. When the final buzzer sounded, Purdue University improved to 4-0 with its 106-64 win over the Fairfield University men's basketball team on Saturday night.
  • Stags Sweep Marist to Advance to MAAC Championship Match

    Fairfield University Volleyball swept visiting Marist on Saturday to advance to the 2017 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championship Match. The top-seeded Stags will play third-seeded Iona for the MAAC Championship on Sunday at 2 p.m. on George Bisacca Court at Alumni Hall. Fairfield is in search of its third consecutive MAAC Championship and its 10th overall since 1997.
